I have enjoyed teaching and administering in both Christian and public schools since 1987. I have a Masters Degree in curriculum and instruction from the University of Oregon with a Standard teaching license in social studies, a K-12 endorsement in technology education, and a K-12 endorsement in physical education.

I appreciate the energy here at LIFE and the way Christ is infused in all of our curriculum. My passion is helping students, parents and staff work together to help our youth reach their full potential. I enjoy helping young people prepare themselves for the world awaiting them. I feel that the more skills they have, the better able they will be to deal with what life throws at them. With my experience, I believe that I can help direct our students toward a successful life journey.

In my spare time I like to spend time with my family, travel, camp, hunt, fish and spend time working on my farm. I have visited all 50 states and especially value our national parks and historic sites. My favorite trip of all time was my visit to the Holy Land and walking in the footsteps of Jesus.
