Special programs and classes: LIFE! School aspires to prepare students well for whatever high school they might attend. Most students go on to success in high school, often taking advanced placement classes. The core curriculum consists of art, drama, health, language arts, library, math, music (chorus and bell-choir), physical education, religious education, science, social studies, Spanish, and technology education. Extra-curricular activities include: basketball, chess club, choir, dance team, drama club, field trips, outdoor education, track and field, and volleyball.
Namesake: LIFE! is an acronym for Lutheran Interparish Family Education Association. This Association exists to serve families by providing and promoting Christian education.

Facility: The school is housed inside Grace Lutheran Church at the corner of East 18th Avenue and Hilyard Street. It consists of six classrooms with mini-computer labs, a school library-media center, a cafeteria/multipurpose room with a stage and two fenced outdoor play areas.
A bit of history: LIFE! Lutheran was established by four local Lutheran congregations. The mission of the school is to share the Good News of the Gospel through a Christ-centered education which seeks to develop and nurture faith-filled students who continuously improve their learning and achievement, and who exemplify academic excellence. The school provides a quality Christian education to the children of the congregations’ families, as well as any other family interested in a Christ-centered education. The Association members include Grace, Eugene; Hope, Springfield; Messiah, Santa Clara; and Pleasant Hill Lutheran churches.
